Marilyn Jeannette DeReggi
Marilyn J. Boyd DeReggi lived March 8, 1941 - January 18, 2024, to the age of 82. She had an abundant curiosity, love of books and learning, and felt the importance of making life count and let others she loved know their lives counted to her. She was a selfless wife and mother. Her passion was music; a pioneer in experimental & electronic music, a mezzo-soprano, composer, conductor, harpist, and pianist. Her next creative pursuit as a custom home designer allowed the designs to stand monument to her art. All of these experiences led her to some amazing people and adventures. She wanted to show and share these things with the rest of the world through her words, lectures and classes, performances, and collaborations, to help her students audiences and family. She listened with love and compassion, an advocate to those in need, especially at times of difficult transition. Equally astute and eager she was joyful to share the achievements and happy moments in other’s lives as well as her own.
