1945 - 2024

Anthony (Tony) Lawrence Guerra Sr., 78, of Frederick, passed away peacefully on June 17,

2024. Tony was born on July 24, 1945, in Ludlow, Massachusetts, as the oldest of eight siblings to

Serafim and Constance Guerra. A hardworking businessman, he took great pride in his

contributions to Guerra Technical Sales, a company founded by his father.

Tony was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. Tony shared his love of food through

his exceptional culinary skills and was an avid golfer, enjoying many rounds with dear friends on

the fairway. He particularly loved recounting his achievement of seven hole-in-ones.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Serafim and Constance Guerra, and his brother

Serafim (Larry) Guerra, Jr. He is survived by his two children, Anthony (Tony) Guerra, Jr.

(Challie) and Angela Guerra Roelse; three grandchildren, Ronnie (Libby) Roelse, Jordan

Roelse, and Dominic Guerra; and one great-grandchild, Waylon Roelse. He is also survived by

his siblings, Marvin (Marianne), Chuck, Connie, Melissa, Michelle (John), and Pamela (Gary), as

well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held at a later date. The family extends their sincere gratitude

to all the healthcare workers over the past few weeks and months, especially those at The

Gilchrist Center of Howard County. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony's memory can be made
